Lawr was an owner in my Scoresheet league for ten years. One year he sat next to me during the draft and spent the entire 8 hours talking about golf. He had just started to play and was enthusiastic to say the least. A. I don’t play golf & B. I”m a super introvert (never managed more than a “Hi” to Ron in 20 years at FPAZ.).
Normally someone talking to me about a topic I know nothing about would be a horror story. But this was Lawr and his delivery and style made me a golf fan (for 8 hours, it wore off quickly)
I miss him. Our draft is a lesser place without Lawr in it.
